The Medical School of Guangxi University was established on December 28, 2016, in accordance with the idea of high-level and differentiated schooling. With the goal of building a high-level international research-oriented medical school, our blueprint focuses on four first-level disciplines of Pharmacy, Basic Medicine, Clinical Medicine and Preventive Medicine. Therefore, the Medical School conducts scientific research in Marine Medicine, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Regenerative Medicine and Transplantation, Emergency Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Neurology and other research directions, featuring ASEAN and Guangxi ethnic groups. Our research, based on Guangxi, aims at serving the whole country, radiating to ASEAN regions and reaching the world. It is our duty to carry out personnel training, scientific research and social services.

The School is possessed of a team with highly educated teachers led by several proficient professors in China, including 8 professors and 7 associate professors; 7 doctoral supervisors and 25 supervisors for master’s programs. Also, there are 2 national high-level personnels.

We are dedicated to foster medical talents with a sense of social responsibility, legal consciousness, innovative minds, practical ability and international vision, based on a talent development system with characteristics of the Medical School. Now, the school has programs for bachelor, master and doctoral degree, including the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, Master of Science in Pharmacy, Professional Master of Pharmacy, Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering, and PhD in Biology. We offer special courses such as tutorials, research-based classes, discussion classes, English classes, bilingual courses, co-taught courses both on and off campus, and graduate courses.
