Recently, Elsevier, the global information analysis company, officially released the list of 2022 Elsevier“Highly Cited Chinese Researchers”. Six scholars from Guangxi university, including Han Linhai in Civil Engineering, Zhu Bangzhu in Applied Economics, Long Hualou in Public Administration, Qin Yinhong in Civil Engineering, Shen Peikang in Physics and Chen Wuhua in Electrical Engineering, have been selected into the list.

The 2022 Elsevier“Highly Cited Chinese Researchers” takes Scopus, the citation and index database of Elsevier, a global leading information analysis company, as its statistical source, and adopts the selection method designed by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy, covering 10 subject fields and 84 first-level disciplines of the Ministry of Education. It is used for analyzing the performance of Chinese scholars' research results, which are highly recognized by scholars at home and abroad. The final list includes 5,216 Chinese scholars with global influence.
