From April 26 to 27,2023, Bureau Ⅱ,CPC Center for International Exchanges, China Economic Cooperation Center and the Contemporary World  Magazine of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee jointly organized the “Contemporary World Forum: Harmony For Shared Prosperity” in Nanning, Guangxi, which was hosted by Guangxi University.

More than 500 participants from General Offices of the CPPCC National Committee, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Qiushi Magazine, Xinhua News Agency, China Institute of International Studies, Communist Youth League Guangxi Regional Committee, China Railway Construction Co.,ltd, political parties, think tanks, media, business community and international students from more than 30 countries attended the forum.

The Chinese and foreign guests discussed the value of the times and the world significance of the Global Civilization Initiative put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping, deepening the practical cooperation between China and neighboring countries in various fields, and opening a new chapter of building a community with a shared future.

During the forum, sub-forums for Political parties, Think tanks and media, Business Community and Youth, as well as Chinese and foreign youth cultural exchange and traditional Chinese cultural experience activities were held under the theme of "HARMONY FOR SHARED PROSPERITY AND JOINT JOURNEY TO SUCCESS".
