On the evening of April 29, 2024, a multicultural dance troupe composed of 20 international students from our school participated in Guangxi University’s  National Scholarship - Dreams Set Sail award ceremony, performing the Zhuang ethnic minority dance Song of the Earth.

Dressed in traditional Guangxi ethnic costumes, they showcased the enthusiasm and vitality of Guangxi through the Zhuang dance, expressing their understanding and love for Guangxi’s artistic culture. Their vivid dance performance received enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Stage Performance by International Student

The synchronized movements on stage reflected their rigorous training. GXU’s international students, hailing from various countries, formed the multicultural dance troupe and practiced twice a week. The diversity in their nationalities and cultural backgrounds led to different movement habits, necessitating additional effort and coordination. Despite these challenges, the students and teachers encouraged and supported each other, collectively overcoming obstacles. The seamless performance on stage was a testament to their hard work and perseverance.
