Legal System and Economy was first published in 1992 and was initially managed and sponsored by the Legal Affairs Office of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In 2001, it came under the management and sponsorship of the Guangxi Daily Press Group. Since November 2020, it has been managed and sponsored by Guangxi University. The journal is publicly distributed both domestically and internationally with a bimonthly publication cycle. The ISSN is 1005-0183, and the CN is 45-1188/D.
