GXU Research Team Makes Progress in Double-layer Organic Photovoltaic Cells

Recently, Professor Kan Zhipeng's team from the School of Physical Science and Technology of GXU has made significant progress in the field of double-layer organic photovoltaic cells. They have prepared polycrystalline structures of NFAs at room temperature using a co-solvent strategy, helping make efficient and stable double-layer organic photovoltaic cells. Their research results were published in the top journal Energy & Environmental Science under the title of "Room Temperature Modified Polymorphism of Non full Acceptors Enable Efficient Bilayer Organic Solar Cells", with Guangxi University as the sole corresponding organization.

The first author of this paper is Zhao Zhenmin, a doctoral student from the School of Physical Science and Technology of GXU, and the corresponding author is Professor Kan Zhipeng. This project is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Guangxi Natural Science Foundation, Guangxi Doctoral Innovation Program, and Guangxi Talent Plan ("Innovation Talent Highland").
