GXU Students Excel in the 9th National University Physics Experiment Competition (Innovation) Final

From November 23 to 27, the 9th National University Physics Experiment Competition (Innovation) final was held at Chongqing University. The event, jointly organized by the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center Alliance for Physics, the National Association for Experimental Physics Teaching in HEIs, the University Physics Curriculum Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, and the Physics Teaching Committee of the Chinese Physical Society, saw remarkable achievements from GXU students.

GXU students received three first prizes, one second prize, and one third prize, while GXU was also awarded the Outstanding Organization Award. The project titled Gravity Acceleration Measurement Based on the Properties of Rotating Ruler won the first prize in the Innovative Projects on Optional Topics category nationwide. Two other projects, Fresnel Biprism Experiment and Interference of Light of Equal Thickness , both received first prizes in the National University Physics Experiment Teaching Competition.

The project Measurement Instrument for Young’s Modulus Based on Low Resistance Measurement Method and Experimental Design was awarded the second prize in the category of “Innovative Projects on Optional Topics”. Furthermore, The project The Un-toppleable Rod secured a national third prize in the “Innovative Projects on Assigned Topics”.

A total of 603 universities, 2340 teams, and more than 13,000 participants from across the country took part in this competition.
