From November 1th to 6th, the 18th China University Taekwondo Championship was held in Jiujiang Sports Center, Qian'an, Tangshan, Hebei. In the fierce competition of 8 individual items of Group A Poomsae Women's, Yu Xiaotang, 2021 graduate student of School of Electrical Engineering, won the champion of Group A Women's Individual Goryeo and Group A Poomsae Women's Individual Taegeuk 5 Jang; Wang Ruining, 2022 graduate student of School of Physical Education, won the champion of Group A Women's Individual King Kong, and was the fourth place of Group A Poomsae Women's Individual Taegeuk 8 Jang.

China University Taekwondo Championship is a national event organized by FUSC(Federation of University Sports of China), which is held in the south and the north, with a total of 812 athletes from102 universities participating. The GXU Taekwondo team won 3 gold, its highest finish.
