From November 7th to 13th, the First Student (Youth) Games of the People’s Republic of China: Swimming Competition(Campus Division) was held in Guangxi Sports Center. Led by head coach Wu Shangbai, the swimming team of Guangxi University represents Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Jiang Lihang from the School of Physical Education, majoring in sports training, class of 2019, won the second place in the women's 100-meter backstroke event and the third place in the 50-meter backstroke event in the University Group B competition. Le Yunguan won the fifth place in the women's 50m butterfly event and the seventh place in the women's 50m freestyle event.

From November 8th to 14th, the First Student (Youth) Games of the People’s Republic of China: Track and Field Competition (Campus Division) was held at Guangxi Sports School (Wuhe Campus). On behalf of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the track and field team of GXU, led by the head Coach Huang Mei, vying for 1 gold, 3 bronze and 1 fourth place. Miao Kexi from 2023 base class, represented Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, participated in the open group of women's 4 * 200 meters relay race and earned the gold medal.

28 swimming teams and 34 track and field teams from all over the nation participated in the competitions.
