Guangxi University Holds the First Graduate Student Academic and Cultural Festival

To enhance the innovative consciousness and abilities of graduate students, promote academic exchange and collaboration, showcase the research achievements of Guangxi University's graduate students, and recognize outstanding individuals and organizations, the closing ceremony of Guangxi University's first Graduate Student Academic and Cultural Festival was held on the morning of July 11th in the Yulin Hall of Junwu Building. Professor Feng Jiaxun, Vice President and Dean of Academic Affairs, attended the event.

Feng Jiaxun pointed out that graduate students should live up to the times, and the expectations of the people. They should make steady progress on the track of innovation in the new era and strive to achieve the best results in the academic and technical fields as contemporary youth. The university will continue to attach great importance to graduate education, providing a better learning and development platform for graduate students. GXU will further enhance the quality of graduate education, strengthen academic and cultural development, foster a rich academic atmosphere, and strive to provide a higher quality academic and cultural life for both faculty and students.

A total of 395 submissions were received for this Academic and Cultural Festival, with 187 works selected for exhibition. In the final evaluation, a total of 96 works received awards for academic achievements. Among them, there was 1 Grand Prize, 19 First Prizes, 28 Second Prizes, and 48 Third Prizes. In addition, individual awards such as the "Excellent Organization Award" were also presented.

Representatives from the Degree Management and Graduate Education Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, as well as officials from Guangxi University's Graduate School, Youth League Committee, and Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee, attended the event.
