Guangxi University Student won the championship at the 10th Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships

On June 15th to 18th, 2023, the 10th Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships took place at the OCBC Arena in Singapore. Lan Xingyu, a student from the School of Physical Education, Guangxi University, represented the China men's national gymnastics team and won the championships in men's team and men's rings events.

In the competition, Lan Xingyu and the team of five competed in pommel horse, rings, equestrian vaulting, parallel bars, horizontal bar, and floor exercise. They achieved a total score of 256.762 points, surpassing the Japanese team, and secured the championship in the men's team event. They also successfully secured a spot to participate in the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in men's team event. In addition, in the men's rings final, Lan Xingyu displayed remarkable form and maintained consistent performance. He executed a routine with a difficulty score of 6.4, the highest difficulty score of the competition, pushing his limits. Ultimately, he achieved a total score of 15.033 points, significantly surpassing his competitors and confidently capturing the championship title.
