On May 18th, the selection competition of Taekwondo at the 31st Summer Universiade came to an end at Hunan University of Science and Technology, hosted by Federation of University Sports of China, with a total of 193 athletes from 47 universities participating.

Our Taekwondo representative team including Yu Xiaotang, Meng Tongxin, and Wang Ruining as its members, won the fourth place in the women group of Poomsae. Moreover, Yu Xiaotang won the fourth place in the woman individual of Poomsae, and Wang Ruining won the seventh place in the woman individual of Poomsae. The team is guided by Teacher Hu Yuanyuan from the School of Physical Education, Guangxi University.

The university has always attached great importance to competition training, actively creating favorable conditions for high-level sports teams, and providing support for teachers and students in their preparation.
The competition tested the training of the Taekwondo representative team of Guangxi University during their preparation period, showcasing the good spirit of "Daring to fight" of Guangxi University.
