Recently, at the 8th Joint Conference of ASEAN University Network on Culture and Arts and Director Re-election Conference hosted by University of Indonesia, Assoc. Prof. Ouyang Yiwen, Vice Dean of School of Arts, Guangxi University, succeeded as a member of the council and was elected as the new Vice Chairman of ASEAN University Network on Culture and Arts, with the term of office from 2023 to 2026.

Founded in 2017, the ASEAN University Network on Culture and Arts (AUN-CA for short) is a subordinate organization of the ASEAN University Network, which aims to provide an exchange platform for cultural and art education for comprehensive universities in the 10 ASEAN countries and China, Japan and South Korea. The council of the organization consists of 5 members, including 1 chairman, 1 vice chairman, and 3 secretaries.

The other members of the newly elected council are from University of Delassa in the Philippines, Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, the University of the Philippines, and Yunnan University in China.
