Thai National Institute of Development Administration Delegation Visits Guangxi University

On May 15th, Pattrawut Charoenroop, the Assistant to the President from Thailand’s National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), leads a delegation to GXU. Yao Zuofang, a member of GXU Party Committee and Assistant to the President, hosts a discussion with the visitors in the first meeting room of Junwu Hall.

Yao Zuofang warmly welcomes Pattrawut Charoenroop and his team, providing an overview of GXU’s development, distinguishing features, prominent disciplines, and our programs for international students, including exchanges and collaborations with Thai universities. She notes that with the upcoming 50th anniversary of China-Thailand diplomatic ties, GXU is eager to forge closer relationships with more Thai universities. We are keen on expanding comprehensive collaborations in research, student and faculty exchanges, and cultural initiatives. Yao expresses enthusiasm about exploring new ways to foster international talent and research partnerships with NIDA, aiming to enhance interactions and advance collaborative projects between the two institutions.

Pattrawut Charoenroop expresses that NIDA is eager to collaborate with GXU on projects such as joint student training and faculty research exchanges. He details his institution’s academic initiatives, goals for international partnerships, university journal submissions, and upcoming international conferences, inviting GXU faculty and students to join their organized events.

Pattrawut Charoenroop and his team also tours the School of Foreign Languages and the China-ASEAN School of Economics. They gain insights into the Thai student programs and GXU’s collaborations with ASEAN countries.
