On July 23rd, Li Shiwei, President of Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT), and his delegation visited Guangxi University. Feng Jiaxun, Vice President of GXU, met with the guests.

Feng Jiaxun welcomed the visit of Li Shiwei and his delegation, and introduced GXU's development history, advantageous disciplines, and recent international exchange and cooperation to the guests. He hoped that both sides could conduct in-depth communication on student joint education and teacher exchange visits for deeper cooperation between GXU and TAR UMT.

Li Shiwei extended his gratitude for the hospitality of GXU and introduced the general information and development history of TAR UMT, as well as achievements in cooperation with Chinese universities and personnel cultivation. After that, the two sides carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on their cooperation intentions in student joint education programs, teacher exchange visits for academic research, research resource sharing, and discussed the details of the programs in this regard.

Li Shiwei and his delegation also toured the campus of GUX to learn about the daily learning and living conditions of the faculty and students as well as the environment of GXU.

Heads from the International Cooperation and Exchange Department, Graduate School, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, School of Business, and School of Economics attended the meeting.
