Relying on the construction of the first-level doctoral program of Mathematics in the School of Mathematics and Information Sciences, the Mathematics Postdoctoral Research Station of Guangxi University carries out scientific research, personnel training, and social services around applied mathematics problems in national and regional development. With the Center for Applied Mathematics of Guangxi (Guangxi University) and Guangxi Center for Mathematical Research as the main research platforms, it has 5 research institutions and innovation teams, including the Key Laboratory of Mathematics with Applications of Guangxi Universities, Institute of Information and Systems Engineering of Guangxi University, and Innovation Team of Guangxi Universities---"Operations Research and Optimal Control", high-level innovation team of Guangxi Universities---"Decision Model and its Application" and "Optimization Theory and Method and its Application". There are 68 full-time teachers, including 19 professors, 26 associate professors, and 14 doctoral supervisors. Postdoctoral Research Station in Chemistry

Relying on the construction of the first-level doctoral program of Chemistry in the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, the Postdoctoral Research Station in Chemistry at Guangxi University focuses on the development of the national comprehensive health industry, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the "Belt and Road" Initiative, and closely combines the featured resources of Guangxi, such as medicinal plants, pine resin, starch, chitosan, rubber and metal minerals, to carry out scientific research, personnel training and social services. With Guangxi Key Laboratory of Electrochemical Energy Materials and Key Laboratory of Applied Chemistry Technology and Resource Development in Guangxi Universities as the main research platforms, there are 24 full-time professors, 12 associate professors, 22 doctoral supervisors, 2 national high-level experts with outstanding contributions being listed in the National People's Ten Thousand Talents Program. There are 2 Zhuoyue Scholars of Guangxi Universities, 3 winners of the Baogang Teacher Award, 4 second-level professors, and 1 member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, forming a high-level faculty with a wide range of disciplines and well-organized age structure. The discipline of Chemistry ranks in the top 3% in ESI.

Postdoctoral Research Station in Mechanical Engineering

Relying on the construction of the first-level doctoral program of mechanical engineering in the School of Mechanical Engineering, the Postdoctoral Research Station of Mechanical Engineering of Guangxi University focuses on urgent scientific research, personnel training, and social services to serve the development of Guangxi's sub-tropical featured agriculture, vehicles, energy and power, construction machinery and other pillar industries. With the State Key Laboratory co-constructed by the Province and Ministry of Education, the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, the National Center for Virtual Experimental Education, the National Engineering Education Practice Center, the Collaborative Innovation Center co-constructed by the Provincial and the Ministry of Education, and Engineering Research Center of Ministry of Education as the main research platforms, there are 88 full-time teachers, including 28 professors, 30 associate professors, and 21 doctoral supervisors. There are foreign academicians from the Russian Academy of Engineering, 7 high-level talents at the provincial and ministerial level, and 7 Baogang Teachers. We have built a young scientific research and management team with a wide range of disciplines and a well-organized age structure.

Since it was first approved to establish a postdoctoral research station in August 2007, Guangxi University has attached great importance to its development. It has implemented the talent strategies for the new era, improved the postdoctoral management system, and promoted platform building to provide better services to post-docs and unleash their potential, making the "double first-class" construction and the co-construction work of the ministry and province to take a new level.
