Guangxi University holds the 9th National Academic Conference on the Luminescence Properties of Doped Nanomaterials

From May 19 to 22, The 9th National Academic Conference on the Luminescence Properties of Doped Nanomaterials was held in Nanning, sponsored by the Commission on Luminescence of the Chinese Physical Society and the Luminescence Committee of the Chinese Society of Rare Earths, and organized by Guangxi University and the State Key Laboratory of Characteristic Metal Materials and Composite Structure Life Safety co-constructed by the Autonomous Region and the Ministry of Education.

The conference has five sub-sessions, including perovskite luminescent materials and application, rare earth luminescent materials and application, quantum dot luminescent materials and application, low-dimensional optoelectronic materials and biological application, energy optoelectronic materials and devices, and two special sessions for young scientists. Experts from the fields of luminescent materials preparation, energy materials, theoretical calculation, optical information processing, luminescent microstructure and so on shared the cutting-edge scientific research progress and academic achievements of optoelectronics.

Professor Zou Bingsuo, Executive Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Characteristic Metal Materials and Composite Structure Life Safety of Guangxi University, served as the chairman of the meeting. More than 800 scholars from over 120 universities and research institutions at home and abroad, including Zhejiang University, Jilin University, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Sichuan University, National University of Singapore and University of California, Santa Cruz, attended the conference.
