On June 29, the 5th International Academic Seminar on "Marxist Political Party Governance Experience", co-sponsored by Guangxi University (GXU), Vietnamese Academy of Social Sciences, National University of Laos, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities affiliated to Hanoi National University, was co-hosted at GXU by the School of Marxism of GXU and the School of Marxism of Nanning Normal University.

Prominent figures from the academic and political spheres graced the opening ceremony with their presence and contributions. Among them were Xia Guoen, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC GXU Committee and concurrently Vice President of GXU; Nguyen Huy Hoang, Dean of the Graduate School of Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences; SIVILAY KEOBOUNTHAM, Director of the Department of Politics and Government Administration of the School of Social Sciences, Lao National University; Bishnu Rijal, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal. Meanwhile, Bai Xianliang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee and Vice President of Hainan Normal University, attended and addressed at the opening ceremony.
